摘要 The present specification defines the possibility of an anode substitute which uses boron-doped diamond (BDD) as an oxide electrode capable of replacing platinum in an electrochemical process performed in high temperature molten salt, and relates to a method and an apparatus for electrolytic-reducing metal oxide which uses the BDD and that is capable of solving the restriction of adjustability limited within a sensor or an organic anode, or of being utilized at room temperature. The method and the apparatus for electrolytic-reducing metal oxide which uses the BDD according to the embodiment of the present invention comprise: a crucible which includes molten salt; a cathode that is immersed in the molten salt and filled with metal oxide; a BDD electrode that immersed in the molten salt; and a reference electrode that immersed in the molten salt.
