The invention relates to a feed additive composition comprising alfalfa and phenyl lactic acid and a method for producing eggs by supplying the same and, more specifically, to a feed additive composition for layer chicken comprising dried powder containing 10% of alfalfa, herbage having nutrition and palatability, and L-phenyl lactic acid calcium salt, which is a natural growth stimulant. A method for raising layer chicken is to improve an egg production rate and have excellent disease resisting power without using antibiotics by adding an additive to feed and supplying the feed to the layer chicken, and eggs having improved quality and nutrition are obtained from healthy chicken raised by the method. The present invention is to develop the dried powder containing alfalfa and phenyl lactic acid as an antibiotic feed additive, thereby enabling production of high quality eggs, providing a new value by using alfalfa, which is hardly used as feed before, as green feed, and raising earnings of a farmhouse. Also, consumption of eggs is promoted by production of high quality eggs from healthy chicken, to which natural organic phenyl lactic acid having substitution effect of an antibiotic is fed, thereby raising earnings of a chicken farm.
