PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that optical characteristics of a lens such as refraction factors of optical beams in a main scanning direction are changed as a temperature of the lens goes up, and a relative positional relationship of image locations of the plurality of optical beams on a photoreceptor is changed as the optical characteristics of the lens change.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus for exposing a photoreceptor with optical beams emitted from a plurality of light emitting elements, generates a plurality of BD signals with the plurality of laser beams, and controls emission timing of the plurality of light emitting elements based on the difference in generation timing of the BD signals. |
