PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of allowing means for regulating a distal end position of a central conductor to a normal position in the wire connection of a coaxial cable to be arranged on a terminal, and also keeping the strength of the terminal to be equal to or more than predetermined strength concerning an electric connector for a coaxial cable.SOLUTION: A terminal 300 includes: a plate-like contact part 304 whose upper surface has contact with a central conductor of a coaxial cable; a fitting part 308 to have elastic contact with a terminal of a mating connector in fitting with the mating connector; press-fitting parts 324a, 324b arranged close to an end part 314 on the opposite side of the coaxial cable in the contact part 304 and to be press-fitted to grooves of a terminal storage part of an insulation seat; and a projection part 316 arranged on the upper surface of the contact part 304 and regulating a distal end position of the central conductor of the coaxial cable. The projection part 316 is formed by embossing from the lower side of the contact part 304. The width of the projection part 316 becomes narrower from a coaxial cable side toward the end part 314. |
