PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device configured to apply engagement reaction of a driven gear fixed to an output shaft to a fitting part of an input shaft and the output shaft, to allow increase/decrease of the engagement reaction of the driven gear to increase/decrease loss torque based on friction of the shafts in the fitting part thereof.SOLUTION: In an electric power steering device, a bearing 16 is disposed around a fitting part K of an input shaft 13 and an output shaft 14 where engagement reaction of a worm wheel 32 fixed to the output shaft 14 is applied.
