The invention relates to the use of the internal combustion engine in a way that conserves energy and saves money with a minimum of additional equipment. A mixing chamber is mixed into the hottest part of the exhaust system at the engine manifold end. A carefully regulated supply of water is vaporised and broken up into H2 and O2 in the presence of the carbon rich exhaust fumes and fed into the air intake manifold to be burned with the air fuel mixture. In this way H2 and O2 are used to enrich the exhaust fumes. The same principal can be applied to heavy machinery, boilers and furnaces where heated flue gasses or exhaust can be used to regenerate burnt fuel. |
