PURPOSE: A balance cylinder for a press machine is provided to obtain stability using two piston rods and to prevent damages to the pistons. CONSTITUTION: A balance cylinder (170) for a press machine comprises a housing (171), a tubular rod (272), a piston rod (172), and a piston (173). The tubular rod is positioned inside the housing and is supported in an upper cover and a lower cover of the housing, and the lower end is fixed to a slide. The piston rod is positioned inside the tubular rod and is supported in the upper and lower covers of the housing, and the lower end is fixed to the slide. The piston is positioned inside the housing and is connected to the upper end of the piston rod and the upper end of the tubular rod. |
