THE DETECTING REAGENT FOR LOW CONCENTRATION OF PHOSPHATE AND THE DETECTING KIT USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A detecting reagent of low concentration of phosphate and a detecting kit using the same are provided to be able to drastically exclude the influence of the interference by different kinds of ions, to require not excessive measuring time, and to be able to simply perform the procedure. CONSTITUTION: A detecting reagent of phosphate is for measuring the concentration of phosphate (PO_4-P, Phosphate). The detecting reagent of phosphate is manufactured by mixing potassium pyrosulfate, ascorbic acid, molybdate and tartrate. The detecting reagent of phosphate is characterized in that molybdate is sodium molybdate, and that tartrate is antimony potassium tartrate. The detecting reagent of phosphate is composed of 10-40 parts by weight of ascorbic acid, 4-20 parts by weight of molybdate, and 1-5 parts by weight of tartrate to 100 parts by weight of potassium pyrosulfate. A detecting kit for measuring the water quality includes the detecting reagent.
