PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a simple and sufficiently secured data memory storage method and device in a low-cost microcontroller that accommodates an integrated control task.SOLUTION: In a method for reading vehicle apparatus control data including data words and checksums, data of a desired address is read from an electronic memory that stores a plurality of data items, a data word and checksum is read from the data of the desired address, a checksum is calculated from the data word, the checksum obtained by reading is compared with the checksum obtained by calculation, and if both checksums do not match, the data word that was read from the data of the desired address is not determined to be a valid data word. |
