PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a simple configuration, and a head-up display system including the display device.SOLUTION: A display device of the present invention is a display device for a head-up display, and includes a liquid crystal display unit 1 having one display area that includes a first display area and a second display area, a half mirror 7 that reflects first emitting light emitted from the first display area of the liquid crystal display unit 1, and a planar mirror 6 that reflects second emitting light emitted from the second display area of the liquid crystal display unit 1 to a direction of the half mirror 7. The display device derives light obtained by overlapping the first emitting light reflected on the half mirror 7 and the second emitting light transmitted through the half mirror 7 with each other to the outside of the device. |
