Disclosed are a data processing method and a data processing device. The method comprises: obtaining a path setting parameter and a display window setting parameter of a desktop sub-window, the path setting parameter comprising a save path into a non-system partition for one or more objects in the desktop sub-window, and the display window setting parameter being used to indicate a display attribute of the desktop sub-window (11); creating a desktop sub-window operation thread (12); generating a desktop sub-window corresponding to the display window setting parameter through the desktop sub-window operation thread, and pointing an object operation pointer of the desktop sub-window to point at a storage area in the non-system partition corresponding to the path setting parameter (13); and injecting the desktop sub-window operation thread into a currently running system desktop operation thread, so as to display the desktop sub-window on the system desktop (14). The method reduces data loss and probability of user misoperation while ensuring convenience of operating objects for users. |
