PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface in which a conflict state can be easily solved when the conflict state occurs between a plurality of setting items.SOLUTION: A setting input for various setting items for scanning is received through a scan setting screen by displaying the scan setting screen on a PC. A conflict check is not performed while the setting input is received so that the setting input by a user is freely received. When an input operation indicating setting completion is performed by the user, it is determined that whether or not a conflict state occurs between setting values, and resetting screens ((a)-(c)) for reselecting any of the setting values which are in the conflict state are displayed when the conflict state occurs. The user can notice that a conflict is occurring and know the setting values which are in the conflict state, through the displayed resetting screen. The user can reselect any of the setting values in the conflict state through the resetting screen. |
