<p>Provided are the use of TPE in an air filter fixing frame, a method of preparing TPE used in producing an air filter fixing frame, and a method of using TPE to produce an air filter fixing frame. Using TPE to produce an air filter fixing frame can give good elasticity to the air filter fixing frame and thus can make the coupling with a filter cartridge more secure, provide good sealing effects, and improve the service life of the air filter. Since the machining performance of TPE is good, using an insert moulding process together with the filter cartridge enables the air filter to be moulded as one piece, the complexity of controlling the process is low, the production efficiency of single product compared with an air filter produced using an adhesive pouring process is 10 times higher, and the aesthetic defects of the injection moulded product are few. Hence, production efficiency is greatly increased, energy consumption is greatly reduced, and the appearance of the products is smooth and attractive. Since TPE is non-toxic for the environment and can be recycled, the air filter fixing frame can be reused multiple times, reducing production costs and even scrap can also be degraded easily, significantly reducing pollution to the environment.</p> |
