PURPOSE: A time-division multiplexing programmable logic controller (PLC) reduces construction costs of an automation system by minimizing the consumption of a signal processing module compared to the amount of signals. CONSTITUTION: A multiplexing module (10) selects one among received multiple measurement control signals by time-division switching of switches formed inside at a specific time and intermittently outputs one. An intermittent signal processing module (20) processes the signal intermittently received from the multiplexing module. A PLC control module (40) receives state information of the multiplexing module and controls the operation of the multiplexing module.
