The present invention relates to: a positive electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries, which contains a positive electrode active material and a positive electrode binder, and wherein the positive electrode active material contains lithium manganate having a spinel structure and the positive electrode binder contains at least a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and a resin having a sulfone bond; and a lithium ion secondary battery which comprises the positive electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries.
