PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backrest mounting structure for a chair with which the appearance of a chair is improved without increasing the production cost.SOLUTION: In a backrest mounting structure for a chair, a backrest 2 is mounted and supported at a back frame 1. In the structure, the back frame 1 is provided with a rising portion 1a, a bottom part 2a of the backrest 2 is provided with a recessed portion 3 for housing the rising portion 1a, the rising portion 1a is housed in the recessed portion 3 to be fixed to the front surface 3a of an inner wall, and the lower front side of the backrest 2, is provided with a peak portion 2b projecting forward. The back frame is hard to be seen in the appearance of a chair without using a cover. |
