PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent device and a lighting apparatus are provided to improve luminous efficiency by employing second electrodes of a zigzag shape. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode (10) includes a first main surface. The first electrode has optical transparency. Second electrodes (20) are extended in a first direction parallel to the first main surface and are separated from each other in a second direction vertical to the first direction. An organic light emitting layer (40) is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode.
