Drospirenone for hormonal substitution treatment

Pharmaceutical composition containing drospirenone together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier of excipient, wherein said composition does not contain an estrogen and wherein said drospirenone is in micronized form. Also, there is described a pharmaceutical composition consisting of a number of separately packaged and individually removable dosage units placed in a packaging unit and intended for oral administration for a period of at least 21 days. Use of the composition for the manufacture of a medicament for protecting the endometrium from hyperplasia or cancer.
