PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-piece substrate which can be individualized easily, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A multi-piece substrate 1 includes an aggregate substrate body 3 consisting of a ceramic sintered compact and having a plurality of cavities 24 formed on one main surface, and a plurality of surrounding parts 12 formed in convex on the aggregate substrate body 3 so as to surround the aperture of each cavity 24, and having the inner peripheral surface 12a serving as a reflection surface. The surrounding parts 12 adjoining each other are separated from each other.
