PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in a printing image.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: a platen that supports and heats a medium; a head that is supported by the platen and prints an image in a portion located in a print region in a heated medium; and a conveyance part that intermittently conveys the medium for each length in a conveyance direction of the print region along in the conveyance direction. The length in the conveyance direction of the print region is shorter than a length in the conveyance direction of the platen and longer than half the length. The print region is located closer to an upstream side than the center of the platen in the conveyance direction. |
