PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide styrene-based resin particles excellent in foamability and moldability and giving a foam molded body excellent in thermal insulation properties.SOLUTION: Styrene-based resin particles contain a styrene-based resin and graphite, wherein the graphite is contained so as to satisfy the relationship of Y≥1.1X, wherein with respect to the total amount of the styrene-based resin and graphite, X (wt.%) represents the amount of graphite contained in the entire styrene-based resin particles, and Y (wt.%) represents the amount of graphite contained in surface layer parts.
