PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improper connection prevention device capable of smoothly achieving a normal connection state even while preventing the occurrence of an improper connection state, and to provide a method of using the improper connection prevention device.SOLUTION: In a fitting state to a connection part of a plug of a tubular member 50, there is provided a first inclination part 63a, which is protruded to the inner diameter side than a connecting member body 60d and in which an inner diameter side protrusion amount is reduced as proceeding to the tubular member top end side from the tubular member base end side, on the other part of a releasing elastic deformation part 63. Accompanying insertion of a coupling member to a plug base end side from a plug top end side in a plug axial center direction, a coupling member is brought into contact with the first inclination part 63a and the releasing elastic deformation part 63 is elastically deformed to energize the connecting member body 60d to the outside in the plug axial diameter direction. |
