PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container that can easily remove a lid from a container body while being capable of securing required strength.SOLUTION: A container includes a container body 2 and a lid 3. Fitting recesses or fitting protrusions are formed at inner peripheral edges of the container body 2. Fitting protrusions or fitting recesses to which the fitting recesses or the fitting protrusions of the container body are fitted are formed at the lid 3. The container is configured so that an inclined surface 26A is formed at an outer part 2H having a flat horizontal surface at the upper end of a corner of the container body 2 in such a manner that it becomes lower as going to the outer side in order to form a finger insertion recess between the lower surface 3U of the lid 3 in a fitted state and itself. A projection 26C projecting upward from the inclined surface 26A is formed at a part of the inclined surface 26A excluding at least the lower part 26a.
