摘要 PURPOSE: A basement medium structure estimating method using a plurality of weighted values and a device thereof are provided to accurately estimate a basement medium structure even though an initial basement model is inaccurately estimated. CONSTITUTION: A basement medium structure estimating device includes a converting unit (610), a modeling data generating unit (620), a residual calculating unit (630), a steepest slope direction calculating unit (640), and an updating unit (650). The converting unit converts data in a measured time area into data in a predetermined conversion area. The modeling data generating unit sets an initial model modeling a basement medium to be estimated and calculates modeling data in a conversion area. The residual calculating unit defines a purpose function in each conversion variable and calculates a residual between measurement data and the modeling data. The steepest slope direction calculating unit independently calculates a steepest slope direction in each conversion variable and adds up it in order to calculate a conversion variable for a range of the whole conversion variable. The steepest slope direction calculating unit normalizes the steepest slope direction in each conversion variable by applying a first weighted value and additionally applying a second weighted value to the steepest slope direction in order to calculate the steepest slope direction.
