PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft type linear motor movable element that achieves high efficiency, miniaturization and productivity improvement by suppressing an increase in the number of components.SOLUTION: A shaft type linear motor movable element 10 includes: a shaft 1; and a ring-shaped permanent magnet 2a fixed to the outer periphery of the shaft 1. The shaft type linear motor movable element 10 is manufactured by: fixing the ring-shaped permanent magnet 2a to the outer periphery of the shaft 1; generating a magnetized magnetic field by a magnetized magnetic filed generating coil; and anisotropically magnetizing the ring-shaped permanent magnet 2a along an axial direction at a plurality of locations.
