A method for the recovery of internal surfaces of the bodies of sliding vane rotary pumps includes application to the inner surface of the body a coating layer by the translational motion of the electric arc pulverizer. The rotational movement is given to the body. The coating is formed by partially overlapping spiral bands of spraying of cored wires. After this the edge cutting machining is carried out with following abrasive honing and brass plating in the medium of process liquid based on glycerol.
