PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an equalizer composed of a transmission line such as a tip open line or a tip shorted line and a variable capacitance element connected to the transmission line, that since the amount of change in frequency characteristics of the equalizer against a voltage applied to the variable capacitance element differs depending on a position at which the variable capacitance element is connected, a change in the amplitude-frequency characteristics of a microwave circuit due to temperature and manufacturing variations cannot be compensated for minutely over a wide range.SOLUTION: A variable capacitance element is connected at a position near the tip of a transmission line such as a tip open line or a tip shorted line and at a position far from the tip of the transmission line, respectively. In this way, a change in the amplitude-frequency characteristics of a microwave circuit due to temperature and manufacturing variations can be compensated for minutely over a wide range, and the amplitude-frequency characteristics can thereby be flattened. |
