PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device, a game machine, and a method for authentication of electronic device with which an existing structure is used, the increase of processing load of a main control section is minimized, an authentication is made based on the communication continuity of control command information, and analysis of authentication information used for authentication is made difficult.SOLUTION: A main control section rotates and stores generated three or more individual identification values, calculates a command value and random number value of control command information by arithmetic operation, and extracts one individual identification value corresponding to a calculated result storage order. The main control section adds the individual identification value to history data by an addition method, generates authentication information, and transmits the generated authentication information to a peripheral section. The peripheral section decides the storage order based on the control command information and the authentication information. The peripheral section specifies the individual identification value of the storage order to be extracted by the main control section, based on the command value of the control command value received, and extracts the history data for authentication from the authentication information based on an expectation value matching the individual identification value and the addition method of the main control section. The peripheral section authenticates the main control section based on the extracted history data for authentication and the history data on the peripheral side. |
