According to the present invention, a system and method for providing an open API-based content service interface involve registering, as an application programming interface (API), a content service provided from a content server so as to provide and execute the registered content service. The system consists essentially of: an API-registration unit which registers the content service as a standardized open API and creates a service specification for the registered content service (hereinafter "service API"); a processing-module executing unit which executes a processing module of the open API; and an API-processing unit which, upon receipt of a request for execution of the service API from a user of a website server, executes a service API using an open API processing module. According to the above-described system and method for providing an open API-based content service interface, a content server manager may provide a content-sharing service in another website server without developing a separate application. |
