PURPOSE: A furnace for a rolling mill is provided to prevent outside air from flowing into the inside of the furnace through an outlet when a workpiece is ejected to the outside of the furnace, thereby improving thermal efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A furnace for a rolling mill comprises a main body(10), a door(20), and a blocking part(30). An outlet(11) is formed on the main body. The door installed at the outlet is capable of being opened and closed. The blocking part prevents outside air from flowing into the inside of the furnace through the outlet. The blocking part includes a blocking curtain which covers the outlet, and a fixing part which connects the blocking curtain to the outlet. The blocking curtain is fire-resistant and elastic. A stepped portion is formed at the outlet so that the outlet is placed to be internally concave against the outer wall of the main body. The fixing part includes an inserting groove formed at the outlet, and a pressurizing member. The pressurizing member inserted into the inserting groove restrains the blocking curtain. Fixing grooves are formed at the inserting groove. Fixing protrusions formed at the pressurizing member opposed to the fixing grooves penetrate the blocking curtain, and are pressed in the fixing grooves. |
