<p>The invention is to prevent any reduction of a force for holding an electrolytic capacitor even when an internal pressure is increased and increase an effectiveness of repetitive use of an electric circuit used therewith. For this purpose, a socket 11 for electrolytic capacitors has a support 12 for supporting a bottom surface of the capacitor 61 having a housing 62 and leads 63, 64 provided at the bottom surface thereof, the support surface 12 comprising connecting terminals 31 for electrically connecting the leads 63, 64 to a circuit substrate 51. The support 12 comprises a holder 13 formed therewith for releasably holding a portion of capacitor 61, adjacent the leads 63, 64, and a recess 14 formed therein for accommodating deformations of seal rubber 65 provided at the housing 62 of the capacitor 61.</p> |
