PURPOSE: An automatic finishing device for a cut face of a shell plate for a ship is provided to press the cut face of the shell plate at uniform pressure and finish-process the same, thereby obtaining a uniform finishing quality. CONSTITUTION: An automatic finishing device for a cut face of a shell plate for a ship comprises a rail unit(110), a carriage, a grinder holder(130), a grinder unit(140), a pressure regulating unit(150), and a second driving unit(160). The carriage is mounted on the rail unit and travels along the rail unit. The grinder holder is installed in the carriage, positioned on a lateral side of the cut face of the shell plate, and moved to the cut face of the shell plate. A first driving unit(144) of the grinder unit rotates a grinder wheel(142) to the cut face of the shell plate. The pressure regulating unit is installed in the carriage and the grinder holder and provides pressure to the cut face of the shell plate by a grindstone of the grinder unit. The second driving unit generates a driving force in order to travel the carriage along the rail unit by driving a pinion. |
