<p>An ophthalmic apparatus has means 110 for acquiring an image of an eye fundus; a fundus tracking unit 150; and display control means 120 for causing a display means 130 to display the fundus image together with a predetermined region of interest. The position of the region of interest is corrected for movements of the eye detected by the fundus tracking unit. Preferably, the region of interest indicates the location of a tomogram or a tomographically imaged volume obtained using optical coherence tomography. The correction may account for both planar displacements and rotations. The location and size of the region of interest may be adjusted by the user via a GUI shown on the display, preferably using a mouse and an index pointer.</p> |
