<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device capable of performing a refrigerant amount determining operation of small error in detection even when a heat source-side heat exchanger is affected by disturbance. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerant amount determining method for determining the adequacy or inadequacy of the refrigerant amount in a refrigerant circuit in the air conditioning device 1 comprising a heat source unit 2 having a compressor 21, a heat source-side heat exchanger 23 and a cooling heat source adjusting means 27, an utilization unit 4 having an utilization-side heat exchanger 41, an expanding mechanism 33, and the refrigerant circuit 10 including a liquid refrigerant communication pipe 6 and a gas refrigerant communication pipe 7, and capable of performing at least a cooling operation, comprises a mode switching step and a refrigerant amount adequacy/inadequacy determining step. In the refrigerant amount adequacy/inadequacy determining step, the adequacy or inadequacy of the amount of refrigerant filled in the refrigerant circuit is determined by detecting a degree of undercooling of the refrigerant in a state that a cooling action of a cooling heat source is maximized by the cooling heat source adjusting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
