PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low noise index aperture antenna.SOLUTION: An aperture antenna 20 comprises: a reception element 21 including an aperture 21a and configured to receive radio signals having a frequency included in a predetermined bandwidth of a radio frequency via the aperture 21a; a waveguide 22 configured to receive the radio signals from the reception element 21; and a frequency selection structure arranged between the reception element 21 and the waveguide 22, extending partially inside the reception element 21 and/or partially inside the waveguide 22, and configured to propagate only the received radio signals having the frequency included in a predetermined sub-bandwidth of the predetermined bandwidth of the radio frequency from the reception element 21 to the waveguide 22. Furthermore, the frequency selection structure is configured to reflect the received radio signals having a frequency not included in the predetermined sub-bandwidth and return them to the reception element 21.
