The bracket structure (10) has a base portion (12) that is provided with a plastic element (14). The base portion is made of plastic material such as polyamide material, polyphthalamide material or polyetherketone material and fiber material such as glass fiber material, aramid fiber material, steel fiber material or carbon fiber material. A detection element is provided to detect the damage of a bracket portion. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing bracket structure.
