发明名称 PROCESS FOR REDUCING NOX IN COMBUSTION WASTE GAS
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce NOx in combustion waste gas by performing glow arc discharge in the waste gas or by generating nitrogen plasma and injecting the generated nitrogen plasma into the waste gas. CONSTITUTION:When arc discharge is performed in waste gas, nitrogen molecules are decomposed into nitrogen atoms which react with NOx to cause a reaction: NO+N N2+O. Thus, NOx is reduced. In this case, O2 remaining in the waste gas reacts with N2, but the influence is slight because of low concn. of the O2. If leakage of current is caused due to deposition of soot to the discharge electrode, installation of the electrode in the waste gas is avoided, but nitrogen plasma jet is injected into the waste gas. For this purpose, the waste gas is cooled and compressed, and then used as plasma working gas.</p>
