STEEL FOR WIRE-ROD COIL TRAY HAVING EXCELLENT CRACK RESISTANCE AND DEFORMATION RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: Steel for a wire-rod coil tray is provided to extend the service life of a tray by ensuring excellent resistance to crack and deformation. CONSTITUTION: Steel for a wire-rod coil tray is composed of 0.35-0.45% of C, 23-27% of Cr, 0.3-1% of Mo, 19-22% of Ni, 1.5% or less Mn(except for zero), 1.5% or less of Si(except for zero), 0.1-0.3% of REM, remaining amount of Fe, and impurities(all compositions are given in weight%). The steel additionally contains one or two kinds of Nb or V for 1-2% as a total amount. The REM contains 54-58% of Ce, 13-17% of Nd, 24-28% of La, and 13-17% of Pr(all compositions are given in weight%). The steel for a wire-rod coil tray comprises an austenite single phase tissue.
