Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a formulation principle that stabilizes the amorphous form of Imatinib mesylate and amorphous Imatinib mesylate, optionally together with at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the formulation principle is a cyclodextrin complex.
