PURPOSE: A car rain sensor is provided to be freely installable since a driver's view is not blocked by forming an electrode member out of a transparent material. CONSTITUTION: A car rain sensor comprises an electrode member(10) and a control unit(22). The electrode member includes a first electrode(12) and a second electrode(14). The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged with an interval from each other on a windshield of a car. The control unit generates a control signal according to a signal which is generated between the first electrode and the second electrode. The second electrode comprises n electrodes. The second electrode comprises a 2-1 electrode and a 2-n electrode.
