TUNDISH FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

PURPOSE: A tundish for continuous casting is provided to improve the quality of a main piece by preventing the trapping of a coagulation piece between a molten steel discharge port and a stopper and the level variation of molten steel surface in a mold. CONSTITUTION: A tundish(100) for continuous casting comprises a tundish body(110) and a dam(120). The tundish body comprises a molten steel storage part(111) and a strand part(112). The strand part is coupled to an opened surface(S) of the molten steel storage part and has a molten steel discharge port(113) at the bottom. The dam blocks the opened surface. The bottom(121) of the dam is connected to the inner bottom surface of the tundish body. The dam has a molten steel passage(122) at a predetermined height(H1).
