The dual clutch transmission has two clutches (K1,K2) whose input side is connected to a drive shaft (AN) and output side with transmission input shafts (EW1,EW2). The transmission input shafts are associated with hollow shafts (HW1,HW2). The transmission stages (A-H) and switching elements (S1-10) are associated with an output shaft (AB). The transmission stage (G) associated with the hollow shaft (HW1) and a countershaft (VW) is switched at middle gear ratio for traction uninterrupted switching.
