<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil holding device in which a plurality of annular conductors can be appropriately held by a coil holder in a manner corresponding to a coil end of a spiral coil. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a coil holding device which comprises a cylindrical coil holder 50 for holding a plurality of annular conductors 35 making up a coil for rotary electric machines. The coil holder 50 is configured such that a plurality of main holding parts 57 and a plurality of sub-holding parts 58 are combined together to form a cylindrical shape. The coil holding device further comprises: a temporary holding mechanism 70 for holding, in a state where the main holding parts 57 and the sub-holding parts 58 are separated from one another, protruding portions 35d of the annular conductors 35 held by the main holding parts 57; and a moving mechanism 60 capable of moving the main holding parts 57 and the sub-holding parts 58 relative to one another. The sub-holding parts 58 are moved toward an axial second direction L2 side by the moving mechanism 60 to thereby hold, while being combined with the main holding parts 57, the protruding portions 35d of the annular conductors 35 held by the temporary holding mechanism 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
