<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance operability, when making printing of an instruction waiting printing job started. <P>SOLUTION: A printer includes: a printing job execution means capable of executing a first printing job which after receiving printing data, receives start operation and starts printing and a second printing job which starts printing, without receiving instruction from a user; a printing job management means which handles a state, prior to the first printing job receives the start operation as an instruction waiting state, and handles a state before the end of printing, after the first printing job receives the start operation and a state, prior to the second printing job ends the printing as a processing state; and a job-state display means which displays the printing job of the instruction-waiting state and a printing job of the processing state by different screens which can be switched, when there is a printing job of the instruction waiting state, initially displays the screen for displaying the printing job of the instruction-waiting state, and when there is no printing job for the instruction-waiting state, and displays initial display of a screen for displaying the printing job of the processing state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
