<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing a stereoscopic pattern by digital control using, in particular, with the use of UV ink jet. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for printing a stereoscopic pattern by a digital control system UV ink jet, the ink jet printer forms high and low undulations by discharging white ink while reciprocating laterally in a printing area for a work piece, and applies color by discharging color ink in the next printing section, thereby printing a stereoscopic pattern.
