<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device which inhibits a conductive member from rising to an end surface of a laser element and achieves excellent heat radiation performance. <P>SOLUTION: A laser device 100 includes: a substrate 10; a conductive member 11 provided on the substrate 10; a laser element 20 having an optical waveguide region 20a provided on the conductive member 11. The conductive member 11 has a narrow part 11a which is provided at an end part of the conductive member 11 and is narrower than the laser element 20 and a wide part 11b which is wider than the narrow part 11a.
