<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position a carriage with a small amount of collected data. <P>SOLUTION: A linear conveyor comprises: a linear motor stator 7 including a plurality of electromagnets 26 for each of which energization can be individually controlled; a plurality of sliders 4 each including a linear motor movable element 8 composed of a permanent magnet 44; and a plurality of motor controllers C each for individually controlling energization for each of the electromagnets 26. Each of the motor controllers C includes a data storage section 74 that stores position correction data for each of the sliders 4 determined on the basis of a movement error of each of the sliders 4 measured by using a common measuring tool in advance to correct a target stop position by using position correction data for a target slider 4 when stopping the slider 4 at the target position, and controls energization for each of the electromagnets 26 on the basis of the target stop position after the correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
