<p>A liquid crystal display comprises a pixel region defined by multiple gate lines (20) and data lines (50) and multiple pixel units. Each pixel unit comprises a transistor, a pixel electrode (40), a common electrode (30), and at least one linking portion (31). The pixel electrode (40) is connected to a drain (51) of the transistor. The common electrode (30) is connected to a corresponding common line (22), and overlaps with the pixel electrode (40). The linking portion (31) is located on a same plane as the common electrode (30), is connected to the common electrode (30), passes through the gate lines (20) in an insulated manner, and is connected to the common electrode (30) of the pixel unit of the neighboring pixel region. Through the structural configuration, the liquid crystal display can provide the desirable aperture ratio and penetration rate.</p> |
