PURPOSE:To make a beautiful display at low cost through a simple device. CONSTITUTION:This device has a 1st transparent substrate 6, a 1st transparent electrode 7 which is formed inside the 1st substrate 6, and a 1st orientation film 80 which is provided on its top surface. Further, the device has a 2nd transparent substrate 6 which is provided opposite the 1st substrate 6, 2nd and 3rd transparent electrodes 71 and 72 which are provided successively inside the 2nd substrate 6, 2nd and 3rd orientation films 81 and 82 which are oriented mutually differently and have visual angle characteristics in mutually reciprocal directions, and a liquid crystal material 41 which is charged between the 1st and 2nd substrates 6. This device is provided with a liquid crystal display part where 2nd and 3rd transparent electrodes 71 and 72 and orientation films 81 and 82 are provided alternately in matrix and a liquid crystal driving circuit which applies image signals of mutually different space information to 1st and 2nd polarizing plates 5 and 2nd and 3rd transparent electrodes 71 and 72 and drives the 2nd and 3rd transparent electrodes 71 and 72 with voltages for emphasizing the visual angle characteristics in the mutually reciprocal directions. |
