<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an operation surface while securing high operability. <P>SOLUTION: An input device 10 for a vehicle includes: a display screen 31 in which a cursor pointing an operation item for a prescribed operation object is displayed; an input device which outputs a signal according with a slide operation performed by fingers of an operator on operation surfaces 22; and a display control unit which controls movement of the cursor in the display screen 31 in accordance with the signal outputted from the input device. The input device includes a plurality of operation surfaces 22 disposed in a plurality of different positions within reach of fingers of the operator sitting in a driver's seat of a vehicle, and the display screen 31 includes a plurality of display regions 32 divided in accordance with the number of the plurality of operation surfaces 22, and the plurality of operation surfaces 22 correspond to different display regions 32 respectively.
